HOM Agenda
- The new Vision and Mission of United Games
This new UG approach has been worked out at the UG New Meeting in Graz from 11th – 14th October 2007. At the HOM we will discuss this new approach and decide upon it.
- UG International
Werner will leave UG International at the end of 2008. Beginning of a discussion about the future role of UG International and how it should be structured, organised and run in the future. We will not come to final decision at this HOM but we need to start a discussion, define an organisation and time plan how and when UG International will be taken over.
- Report and Discussion about the UG Festivals and international projects in 2007
Please prepare written reports (English) about your 2007 festival and about other projects and programmes that you have organised, e.g. The European Youth Congress. If possible bring along a CD with PPP and pictures and videos about your Games. You will have about 10 minutes to report about your festivals and projects which will be followed by a 5 minutes discussion.
- EVS among UG countries and towns
To exchange UG and YV people between the various UG countries is a very interesting option that we have started to discuss at the last UG HOM. From feedbacks I have got from various UG countries I know I know that more and more UG organisation plan to use and offer EVS as a possibility. We should look more carefully into this option and find a common coordination base for it. If you national agency does not accept you as a receiving organisation it is also a possibility to organise an EVS option with the help of your town hall.
- Common UG Logo
In the previous years different interpretations of our UG Logo (Born Free) developed and where used in the various UG festivals and programmes. In some cases also a totally new UG logo was developed and used. We need again to discuss if we use only one logo (same design and shape) in all the UG countries. Georg (UG Austria) has developed a logo which is also used at the UG website. We need to discuss if we use this logo now for all the UG countries and its festivals, projects and programmes.
