Message about EVS to UGA-participants
Find some information about EVS and useful links here in the message from Ezgi and Elisabeth!
Dear United Games
Participants!
Do you remember the presentation of the
different Voluntary Services on Thurseday, the 20th of September?
One of the
presentations was about the European Voluntary Service, made by us, Ezgi and
Elisabeth.
We have promised you to send you some more information and useful
links, so that you can find out how it works from the place where you live:
Here are once more the steps of how it usually works when you want to do
an EVS (European Voluntary Service):
- Find the nearest Sending-organisation working with the EVS
- Get information for the process of application from them
- Search for projects that you are interested in on the data base for EVS
projects: : http://ec.europa.eu/youth/program/sos/index_en.html
- Get in contact with possible hosting organisations in the country that you
want to go to and send them you CV (Curriculum Vitae) and a motivation letter
(why you want to go to this project etc.)
- Apply for your EVS together with the sending organisation and the hosting organisation to your National Agency (consider deadlines!)
- Wait and be patient :)
- GO!!!

We wish you good luck for whatever you do, especially of course, if it is going abroad with EVS :)
